There truly is no end to the majesty and cleverness of The Clever Mr Jobs. Not only has his magical iPod contraption brought music into the lives of millions of people who previously wouldn't be seen dead wearing white headphones, but the entire gadget universe that has grown-up around the iconic device has created new jobs for many. Hurrah.

Here's one such example. These small translucent spheres pack a serious punch when it comes to illuminating your music. They look fabulous in the daylight. And rather gorgeous in the dark. Simply hook them up to your ubiquitous iPod (or other digital music device) and watch transfixed as the miniature plastic globes are transformed into a pair of shiny disco balls, as we believe the phrase goes.

Suddenly, you're daddy cool again - and quite a hit with all manner of cool dudes and hep cats. And, should you wish to get cranking and turn the volume up to 11, there's a whole 5 watts to play with. Just don't spend it all at once.
